Abstract Submission Details
Abstracts of a maximum of 300 words in English or French must be submitted through the Online Abstract/Paper Submission page of the GeoSt.John's 2019 conference web site. Authors will be asked to indicate the technical theme under which they wish their paper to be presented.
Please use the Abstract Template to ensure uniformity for the online technical calendar feature of the website – abstracts that do not use the template will not be reviewed.
The deadline for abstract submission is December 15, 2018. Invitations for the submission of full papers will be sent by January 31, 2019 to authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference’s Technical Committee.
Guidelines for the preparation and submission of technical papers will be posted by the end of January 2019. Authors of accepted abstracts must submit their full paper by April 30, 2019, along with at least one full conference registration. Authors are expected to present their paper during the conference.
Full papers will be reviewed for clarity and technical merit. In cases where the reviewer feels revisions are necessary, reviewer comments will be provided by June 15, 2019, with revised papers being due by June 30, 2019. Accepted papers, for which at least one author has registered for the conference, will be included in published proceedings of the conference on a USB key, which each registrant will receive as part of their registration fee.
Final decisions regarding technical merit, relevance, the assigned session topic for submitted papers and the presentation format (oral or poster) will rest with the Technical Subcommittee. Questions regarding session topics, etc., should be directed to the Technical Committee at email@example.com.
